ASP Job Board Software

Parodia is an ASP application for running an internet job board or recruitment web site. The software consists of several folders of ASP scripts which connect to a database (also included). In addition, the email job agent relies on a server-side executable built in Delphi for high efficiency bulk mailing of jobs to candidates on a frequent basis.

Fully web based

Parodia is administered entirely via a standard web browser. Although ASP scripts must be hosted on a Microsoft Server, administration can be done from any recent web browser running on virtually any platform. The site operator can administer recruiter accounts, ecommerce transactions and even change the wording of any part of the site all from a password protected interface accessible from any standard web browser.

The three sections

The system is divided into three sections by user type. The front end is the public part that is used by candidates to search for jobs, add their CV (résumé) to the database and setup search agent profiles for auto-emailing of jobs. The third party section is a password protected area where registered companies can login, update jobs, search for candidate CVs and view stats. Finally, the back end is the system administrator's area from where he/she can setup companies with access, allocate slots to them, view stats, 'clean' the CV database and perform other essential duties.

Software or custom build

We sell the sourcecode for Parodia to developers and we also custom build sites based on it. If you are interested in setting up a recruitment site, please make clear when contacting us whether you are interested in the sourcecode alone or whether you would like us to design, install and customize the site for you. We can also quote for custom modifications to the sourcecode if required.

Are there any ongoing fees?

Once you've purchased a license to the code and setup your web site, there are no ongoing fees other than hosting (if you've opted to host with us). If you would like continual tech support then we can offer options for this but many clients find few problems and prefer to have tech support on a 'per incident' basis. It's up to you.
